22 Jun 2 Years post-the exit
Mornings have turned into a ritual of coffee and catching up on the news, followed by a spot of planning for the day. Then it’s off to take care of business after the morning rush hour. Restfully busy, is the best way to explain it.
Is it a life free of stress, not at all. It's a different kind of stress, one that allows one to thrive rather than one that destroys.
It is stress that continuously forces me to think out of the box, one that drives creativity, forces me to look at the world from a different lens, one that drives innovation.
It is this that has allowed for the delivery, in six months, a complete Student Management and Funder management system, both on time and within budget to the amazement of the management team and the delight of the student administrators.
Could I have done this before, maybe, although the toll would be much higher as I would have had to deal with the various egos and office politicians who would want to cement their positions by trying to influence and control the program and its outcome.
Work has become a delight, and I have a newfound energy which sees me working well into the night, this to the benefit of Hassem Prag and our customers.
And I love it!
